Yen Enterprise has been in the food industry for over 20 years, specializing in donut and bakery ingredients. Yen Enterprise, operating under the B&H trade name, was a full-service donut and bakery ingredients distributor. By the late-1990s, B&H serviced approximately 80% of the ethnic Cambodian donut shops in Southern California and was grossing over $16 million in sales per year. Yen Enterprise also ventured into the paper box industry in the late-1980s. In order to strengthen B&H's position in the paper box market within the donut and bakery industry, Santa Ana Packaging, Inc. was established in 1989. However, with the changing market trends in the donut industry, Yen Enterprise has been undergoing transition and corporate reorganization. By 2003, B&H was divested while Yen Enterprise expanded and diversified its business to new ideas and concepts. Currently, Yen Enterprise is creating a strategic alliance with Vietnamese manufacturers to develop entrance and marketing strategies for Vietnamese products in the U.S. Yen Enterprise's objective is to build brand awareness for Vietnamese products in the U.S.
